A Nation in Need of a Friend
As long as we were here prior to July 4, 1930, we as a people have never known what it was like to have a friend. Today our people who have rejected divine guidance or have yet to experience it, have hearts that are growing cold and their inner light becoming dim. Our young people today walk the streets with faces of stone and give you looks that could kill if looks could kill. Our people are not happy and a popular culture of death has led to an increase in the disease in their hearts. After the apparent failure of the civil rights movement our people have a black president and a bleak future, and continue to lead this nation in every negative statistic necessary to gage our progress. Only now we have no idea who the enemy is or who our friends are and we are worst off today than we were before affirmative action. The Holy Qur’an says “Give thanks to Me (God) and to thy parents.” This is the only time Allah puts anyone in his company to receive gratitude and the people responsible for our introduction to God are our parents. But the Qur’an also asks what if your parents were fools. In that case you would need a friend.
In the bible we can find the source of the world’s problems today, if properly understood. Gen. 25 v. 22-23, “And the children struggled together within her…and the Lord said unto her “Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people, and the elder shall serve the younger.”
One child was named Esau he was the eldest while his twin brother was called Jacob. Now in Arabic you would pronounce these names as Isa (Jesus) and Yakub (Jacob). More on this later. We find as their father Isaac approaches death the eldest son Esau prepares to receive his father’s blessing and goes out to prepare the food for the blessing ceremony. Due to Isaac’s poor eyesight and the treachery of Jacob, Esau’s birthright is stolen by his brother. Jacob has deceived his father by dressing his skin to appear the same as his brothers. Esau learns of the treachery upon his return and vows to bury his father and then kill his wicked brother. Jacob flees.
Later we see Jacob wrestling with an angel. The Angel cries out to Jacob to be let go, but Jacob proclaims “I will not let you go until you bless me”. They wrestled all night long until day began to break, and the angel blessed Jacob with a new name and told him he had wrestled with God and man and had prevailed therefore his name was called Israel.
The Holy Qur’an says after the disobedience in the garden Allah says “Go forth…some of you are the enemies of others”. Our people are not happy because they are not living their original way of life, which you can only find in the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Master Fard Muhammad is our Good Samaritan that found us beaten and robbed, close to death lying on the side of the road that every other people walked past until he came, cleaned us up, and paid the price. We are the people of Esau who had our birthright stolen; the birthright is the power of self-rule. Jacob wrestled with the angel to take God out of man and produce a completely godless man, a white man. Later we see that in the book of Habakkuk, a prophecy of the coming of God, when it says “God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran (Arabia)” Teman is the son of Eliphaz who is the son of Esau, therefore the Savior comes to avenge the wrong done and restore us to our rightful place, on top! Our Friend has arrived.
